DJ Dougal is one of the BIGGEST legends in the UK Dance scene! This man has done it all. At Dreamscape in 1992, he was the first hardcore DJ to play a full set of UK Hardcore. He is one of the original DJs from the infamous BONKERS compilations and one of the guys behind the True Hardcore compilations. With his unique style of uplifting and twisted sounds, this DJ has been filling dance floors around the world for almost 2 decades. He is an award-winning DJ, Producer, and Label owner. With over 100 releases on his legendary record label Essential Platinum, DJ Dougal really is true hardcore!

Milo

Milo is no stranger to the North America rave circuit. One of the keystones in today’s stateside hardcore scene, Milo has played clear across the USA, Canada, and has recently landed events across the pond. Pushing the new sound of hardcore to the masses, Milo is poised to take our scene to the next level. Whether he’s in the studio, behind the scenes running NAHM, or up on the decks, no one can deny the passion and style he brings to the table.

Dupont

Over the past ten years, Dupont has been honing his deck skillz with gigs all over the country. At the same time, Anthony has been producing his own music, while back at home, for the last 5 years. From New York City to California, Canada to Miami, Dupont has made a name for himself tearing the roof off and bringing down the house at every party he has played. Smooth mixes, precise cutting, and just the right amount of love, have all been blended to perfection by one of the East Coast’s favorite Happy Hardcore DJs/producer.After years of producing and spinning his own tracks at parties, Dupont recently signed to Mad Panic Records. With a slew of tracks co-produced with Mike Bounce, set for release in the near future, it is obvious that Dupont has a bright future in front of him. Combine that with all the experience already behind him and it is plain to see that Dupont is a name you will be hearing for a long time to come!

With his ferociously driving mix of UK Hardcore, Freeform Hardcore, and Drum n Bass this DJ guarantees to keep you stomping till the break of dawn! Flyin Brian hosts a monthly internet radio show, Hardcore Vibes, which is now in it’s fourth successful season on WTNRradio.com. You can catch him on the air on the last Saturday of every month from 10pm- 6am. As one of the founders of NYC’s DreamHard Productions, Brian and the entire DreamHard crew are dedicated to keeping the hardcore vibe alive in NYC!

Leela

Leela has been known to mash up dancefloors with a super-awesome blend of all things hardcore with a touch of dnb. If you’ve heard any of her mixes, then you know what is in store; bouncy, cheesy, freeformy, and breakbeaty goodness. Since 2003, Leela has been on a personal mission to seek out the best of the best in hardcore, no matter what the flavor. Having performed at events in New York, New England, Philly, Baltimore, Toronto, and San Francisco, alongside some of the most creative DJs in hardcore, Leela is always ready to step up to the decks.

Auratika

Starting out as a bedroom DJ, Auratika burst onto the scene in 2008 with his CandyCore mix series after attending a few CandyBall parties. Those mixes received such great reactions that he got his first gig at “Taste The Rainbow 2″ in 2009. Since then, he’s been rocking crowds in the northeast at parties like “Hard Hits” and “Nocturnal Nuptials.” His ultra fast, super cheeezy happy hardcore style is unique with high energy track selections, topped off with a little bit of quirk that’s sure to keep ravers stompin until the sun comes up.

Ben’s DJ career began as he took a strong interest in the Australian phenom, DJ Cott’s videos almost two years back. As soon as he began mixing, he was noticed by a happyhardcore community favorite, DJ Leto, and was prompted to join the Global Hardcore Alliance. His mixes made a strong impact on almost everybody who listened, and in time, was then asked to become a part of North Americas biggest hardcore presence–the North American Hardcore Movement. With that as his base, Ben is quickly becoming known as one of the most energetic and talented DJ’s North America has to offer! Keep your eyes peeled for this kid everybody, as he is known for putting on quite the show!

MC Jumper

MC’ing the UK hardcore sounds for well over a decade Jumper has performed throughout the US, Canada, and UK for some of the biggest names in the industry. His most notable recording to date was the intro to “Happy2bHardcore Chapter 7 – A New Beginning” off Moonshine Records. He was also the only American resident of the world famous Hullabaloo events in Canada and is currently resident host mc for the trend setting, genre defining Candyball events.

The winner will be granted the opportunity to play a one- hour set, starting off this incredible all happy hardcore extravaganza – sharing the stage with DJ Dougal and some of the best hardcore talent the Northeast has to offer!

***Contestants are only eligible if they have never played in public or have played in public a maximum of one time. Also keep in mind – our crew is all about promoting the harder sounds, so if your mix is hard and fast you’ll have a better chance at winning.***

Contest Rules…

1. To enter please email; a Download Link To Your Mix, A Track List, Your REAL Name, Phone Number, and Your DJ Alias to info@DreamHardProductions.com. (put “dreamhard mix contest” in the subject line)
2. All submissions must be received no later than September 18, 2009. No submissions will be accepted after September 18th!
3. All mixes must be at least an hour long to be considered.
4. The contest winner will be decided by the DreamHard Crew and will be announced on this forum by September 25th. The winner’s name will also be printed on the flyer for the event.
5. This contest is not limited to geographic location but please know that DreamHard Productions will not provide travel, accommodations, or fee for this booking. Your payment will be the opportunity to play live for the ravers in attendance and possibly a few promoters as well.
