Ladies and Gentlemen! First of all, thanks so much for all of the submissions to the contest. We have been feverishly listening to all of the mixes, and were very impressed by so many. But, in the end, we had to make a very difficult decision.
The winner of the 2009 DreamHard 2 Mix Contest is… DJ Axiom of New Jersey! Axiom will be granted the opening time slot for this epic event, on December 11th. He will have the opportunity to share the stage with some of the Northeast’s greatest hardcore talent, as well as DJ Dougal from the U.K.!! He’ll also be on our flyer, which will drop very soon… so stay tuned!

We at DreamHard Productions are hosting a contest to find the Opening DJ for our next event on December 11, 2009 in Brooklyn! The winner will be granted the opportunity to play a one- hour set, starting off this incredible all happy hardcore extravaganza – sharing the stage with DJ Dougal and some of the best hardcore talent the Northeast has to offer!
***Contestants are only eligible if they have never played in public or have played in public a maximum of one time. Also keep in mind – our crew is all about promoting the harder sounds, so if your mix is hard and fast you’ll have a better chance at winning.***
Contest Rules…
To enter please email; a Download Link To Your Mix, A Track List, Your REAL Name, Phone Number, and Your DJ Alias to info@DreamHardProductions.com. (put “dreamhard mix contest” in the subject line)
All submissions must be received no later than September 18, 2009. No submissions will be accepted after September 18th!
All mixes must be at least an hour long to be considered.
The contest winner will be decided by the DreamHard Crew and will be announced on this forum by September 25th. The winner’s name will also be printed on the flyer for the event.
This contest is not limited to geographic location but please know that DreamHard Productions will not provide travel, accommodations, or fee for this booking. Your payment will be the opportunity to play live for the ravers in attendance and possibly a few promoters as well.

One of Toronto’s favourite hardcore hooligans steps up for his first ever NYC appearance! Saiyan has rocked crowds across Canada and the United States, from one coast to the other. Amped up on alcoholic energy drinks and working from a philosophy of “If it doesn’t suck, I’ll play it”. Saiyan’s eclectic sets throw genres right out the window, blending all forms of hardcore, drum and bass, eurodance, hip hop, metal, and whatever else tickles his pickle. Mmmmmm pickles.
